Ours is a hospital which can boast of doing the latest 2.2 mm microphaco incision. In our latest additions we can boast of a fundus camera with in built autorefractometer with world renowned CARL ZEISS SURGICAL MICROSCOPE for our OT.

Dr Sudip Bhattacharya

M.B.B.S./M.S.(Ophthal)

Born in the education city of bhilai in a family of doctors. Got the early talents of keen observations and analysis few inherited from father who was also a physician. Having selected through a tough battle of PMT scoring a rank within top 100 in general quota. Completed M B B S from raipur medical college then again secured a berth in Pre PG competetion completed MS from Rewa Medical College in 2001. Further worked in Chitrakoot Eye Hospital as junior ophthalmologist. This was followed by a tremendously successful stint as Chief Surgeon in UDAYACHAL EYE HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST. Started his own career as a practising ophthalmologist in Rajnandgaon with the seeds of three principles DEDICATION DEVOTION AND DISCIPLINE.

Dr Soniya Bhattacharya

M.B.B.S./M.S.(Ophthal)

Born in the city of Taj (Agra) had a natural talent for academics and was a sure go getter type of personality. After completing her mbbs from govt medical college indore she went on to achieve her MS in ophthalmology from rewa mp. She did her medical retina observership from eye care gudgaon. Followed by a very successful stint at Christian Fellowship Hospital Rajnandgaon where she not only trained the field workers in eye care work but also worked with Sight Savers International in taking care of some 1500 odd surgeries which includes cataract , glaucoma , occuloplasty etc. Today along with Dr Sudip Bhattacharya she is a full time consulting surgeon in bhattacharya eye clinic.

Phaco-emulsification

We at BEC (BHATTACHARYA EYE CLINIC) are the pioneers in doing the state of the art 2.2 mm incision phaco emulsification with a high end SWISS MADE SWISSTECH machine from OERTLI SWITZERLAND.

Latest Phaco Technology

We have carved out a nicche in handinling glaucoma and cataract simultaneously in one sitting with latest phaco technology there by saving the patient for visiting operation theatre twice.

Glaucoma Care

We have full glaucoma services which includes tonometry, 90 D evaluation of optic disc, zeiss 4 mirror gonioscope (from GERMANY) FIELD ANALYSER, and a state of the art fundus camera to evaluate subtle, early changes.

Oculoplasty

In the field of OCCULOPLASTY we are doing surgeries for ENTROPION , ECTROPION (LID SURGERIES). In BEC we have experienced surgeon for specialised ophthal surgery.
